The STIHL HTA 86 is a powerful and durable cordless pole pruner built for professionals and demanding homeowners who need precise cutting performance at height — without the weight, noise, or emissions of a gas engine.
Powered by the STIHL AP Battery System, the HTA 86 delivers strong torque and consistent chain speed to tackle thick branches and overhead pruning with ease. Its 12" guide bar and ¼” PM3 saw chain ensure clean, controlled cuts, while the rigid, telescopic shaft extends your reach up to 16 feet (including user height) — making it easy to trim high branches safely from the ground.
